Nello Picchietti has over 30 years of construction experience. His passion in the building industry stems back to his early childhood in which his grandfather "the other Nello Picchietti", gave him a box of exotic woodblocks from his woodworking shop and said, "you should make something with these." Nello graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology with an emphasis on construction at Illinois State University in 1991. He worked at ISU's theater department building stages and scene props. Building the Illinois Shakespeare Festival's 10-anniversary stage and props was a highlight of his education. He built his 1st home with a classroom environment in 1990.

Nello was born and raised in Heyworth, Illinois. He married his best friend Robin in 1994 and they currently reside in Hudson, Illinois raising two children, Zach and Zoe. Nello is also an active musician and has been in different groups throughout the years. Music is the biggest catalyst to spark his creativity. Nello loves the outdoors, being on a lake, and just being in nature.

At its core, the passion for building became extremely relevant as it correlated to "Build Others Up". The fundamental value of developing a relationship with an initial client is so rewarding that it truly is the motive behind the company. The end result is someone loving their new or newly redesigned home and developing a trustworthy relationship.
